Printed Mark ( L= 6.38 H= 1.00 W= 6.38 inches ) - This lovely Brown transferware salad plate , is something of a conundrum . The pattern stag is registered by 5 separate English firms , but this bannered circle matches none of them . The closest mark we could find , was one by Thomas Wood and Sons , but it is not an exact match . At any rate , this is a lovely plate or shallow bowl , and she is - ca 1850-60
