Canary Standards in Colour An exhibitor's guide to the canary fancy

by G. T. Dodwell

Artist John W. Hills was commissioned to paint all the breeds in a way that shows the detailed finer points that are so essential for the exhibition and judge. The text examines the showing of canaries, detailed standards, and where appropriate, the pictorial standard. Types of show cages are also included as well as other vital information. Since each breed is dealt with separately, the fancier is able to turn to the appropriate chapter and find the detail for his or her breed. The 32 colour plates alone make the purchase worthwhile. And 43 black and white illustrations
